Roffaswing en BIRD nodigen platenverzamelaar DJ Blue Flamingo uit om middag mee terug te gaan naar New York, begin jaren '20/'30. De tijd waarin jazzmuziek zich in razend tempo ontwikkelde en big bands zoals van Duke Ellington de jeugd lieten kennismaken met swingmuziek en de bijbehorende dansstijlen zolas de Lindy Hop Geniet van uiteenlopende gerechten uit het Breakfast Club-assortiment van BIRD, terwijl Blue Flamingo vertelt over jazzmuziek en de roerige jaren van het swingtijdperk. Na de lunch gaan de platenspelers aan en lokt Blue Flamingo je de dansvloer op met de mooiste parels uit zijn 78-toerencollectie.

Roffaswing and BIRD invited record collector DJ Blue Flamingo to take you back to New York City from the 1920s/30s. The years when jazz evolved at amazing speed. Big bands like of Duke Ellington introduced the youth with swing music and the Lindy Hop. Enjoy several dishes served from the BIRD Breakfast Club menu while Blue Flamingo will tell you all about the turbulent years of the swing era. After the lunch DJ Blue Flamingo will spin his treasures from his collection of 78s.
