Where can I dance in Rotterdam
Dance classes
Swing in Rhythm offers regular courses in several swing and related dances like blues and tap. You don’t need a partner to sign up. During classes students change partners multiple times.Most classes are taught within the concept ‘Everybody Leads, Everybody Follows’. With this method you learn to lead and to follow and you get an understanding of both roles. This also allows student to skip gender based assumptions of dance roles.
Social Dances & parties
Lindy Hop, swing dances and blues dance are a social dances; it means dancers meet in class and on the social dance floor. The latter makes swing dancing a great activity. Social dances are great fun; think of them like the best parties where you get to work out, enjoy great music and meet more people than you can imagine. Swing dance communities can be found all over the world. There are international workshops and exchanges to be found everywhere.
Roffaswing @ V11
All swing dancers are welcome aboard V11, the coolest and reddest ship in the heart of Roffa. Swing by to chill out, hang out, and swing out! Entrance is free so make sure to buy some drinks at the bar to support our host V11.

Open Practice
The monthly party to practise all your swing. It's a time and space to drill what you have learned, to experiment, to learn from and with other dancers, to get inspired and inspire others, to social dance, to have fun together!
You are welcome to join at any point during the event. Open Practice is an initiative by dancers and for dancers - no matter where you come from or how long you dance, you are welcome to join our community and co-create a safe and supporting environment for dance practice.

19:00-20:00: Dinner
20:00-21:00: Guided Practice
21:00-21:30: Inspiration Session
21:30-24:00: Social Dance
Dinner: food is ordered from a nice establishment to eat together before dancing. A great chance to hang out with friends and to get to know new people! Check the Facbook events on how to join dinner.
Students of Swing in Rhythm get a free session with us per block - so we hope to see everyone at least once!
